It's a historic day in Rhode Island.
This morning, a broad coalition of LGBT advocates, clergy members, labor organizations, industry representatives and and civil rights leaders will announce the formation of Rhode Islanders United for Marriage.
Today’s announcement makes one thing clear: Rhode Islanders are ready for marriage equality. We have more co-sponsors and supporters than ever before, and together we can pass a marriage bill this year.
